Opening Day for the Tribe is just a little more than a month away -- show of hands: who could use a little spring right about now?

Governor DeWine is indicating that it is likely that pro ballparks in Ohio will be at 30% capacity to start the season.  That means approximately 10,500 fans at Progressive Field -- or still about ten times as many as at old Cleveland Stadium in way pre-pandemic times.

So while we waive goodbye to perennial All-Star Francisco Lindor, remember, the 2021 Cleveland Indians (while we can still call them that) are a far cry from the Miguel Dilone-Tom Veryzer-Duane Kuiper Tribe of the 1980's.
