... Oh, My!

It's that time of year again. The black bear migration. They're spotted every year in Hudson, and surrounding areas (right, Fairlawn?). Our Buckeye Bears are just moving to another area where there's food. So, they won't bother you if you won't bother them. With that said, here's what you can…

Kids to the Rescue

It's a refreshing change of pace when there's actually some good news out there. Especially when there's good news in our own neighborhoods. A bunch of kids in Kent helped-out Matt Parisi of Akron, who ended up in a predicament the other day while mowing a customer's lawn.   Kudos,…

What a fun way to see the exhibits at the Akron Zoo! Riding an animal-themed scooter!   The cost to rent is $5, plus .35 cents per minute. I will ride this for an hour! Might be something extra fun to do with the kiddies.

The critics have raved about Top Gun: Maverick. But most importantly, my friends say it's excellent. This will be one of the few movies that will get me to go to the theater! Have you seen this yet? Tom Cruise and James Corden in a plane. It's hysterical!

Check This

It’s a fact that some people don’t trust technology. Many people still have a landline, still go to the bank in person, still read a physical newspaper. If you still write checks to pay your bills beware that thieves are targeting those checks, taking them, and taking your money. Check…

Guitar Hero

As we wind down International Guitar Month, it's only fitting that we talk a little guitar-- especially since this local kid could become a legend one day.  Stow-Munroe Falls student, 17-year-old AJ Garduño rocked it hardcore during the school's talent show-- and won. The self-taught guitarst was gifted his first…

Otterly Fantastic

My latest animal obession is the river otter. They're so darn cute! I think it's the shape of their heads and their squeak-toy sounds that make me melt when I see one. And then when I read that we have river otters --living in our rivers-- and not just at…
