As another school year begins, so too does the 97.5 WONE Kids Who Rock scholarship offer. I am proud to say that I was part of the planning committee that created it. I'm happy to see it continue thanks to the generous help of our sponsors such as Toth Buick GMC who have been with us since the beginning. By now, the high school seniors from our first class of scholarsihp recipients have probably all graduated college now and are off living their promising lives. Time flies! We choose one winner per month during the normal school year, September through May. The toughest part each month is selecting one student from the hundreds we get as they are all deserving. I can recall only one entry that wasn't eligible. He was in Kindergarten and since it is only open to high school seniors, I emailed his Mom to say try again in about eleven years.
