Unfortunately I fractured my spine https://t.co/LeDjF4EJnp

Wordle. The game everyone (except me) plays. And now that Wordle has been sold to the New York Times, Wordle addicts won't be able to play for free anymore. Good for the creator of Wordle, bad for Wordle addicts.
So... let's go old school with some board games that will help you get your fix, for a one-time price point.
Scrabble Deluxe Edition
Blank Slate
Big Boggle
Word Play
Dabble
All these games can be found on Amazon if you don't want to venture out into a store. Happy gaming!
Some toys for all the rockers in your life...

Who said skiing isn't a contact sport? Just ask this poor Frenchman. Dude 0, Gate 1.
My friend sent me this video of this poor skiier slamming his cock and balls directly into a slalom gate at high speed and I have to say it really made me reconsider the severity of my problems in the grand scheme of things pic.twitter.com/GgAAUCIb5v

If you have a deck and you don't have some safeguards surrounding the under deck area, you know critters love to set-up shop there. Raccoons, cats, skunks... maybe a bear... Yup. A couple in Connecticut discovered a large black bear was sleeping winter away under their back deck. They called wildlife officials, who then decided to let sleeping bears lie. We'll see what happens in March when Big Boy wakes up.
We could all use a distraction. And why not find one via this: Charlie Brown and the Peanuts gang sing "La Grange."
So cool, right?
Ah, the good old days. Meaning, childhood. Meaning, getting snow days to do things like play in the snow. I loved making a snow fort. But nothing could come close to what Blake Dixon of South Euclid does with snow. This dude builds igloos. Legit, furnished igloos. It's something he's been perfecting since his childhood.

So this week was Eddie Van Halen's Birthday...
Jimi Hendrix's Documentary will get a theatrical debut this year...
The Beatles 30th Anniversary of their Rooftop Performance will get an IMAX Showing this Sunday Night for 1 night only. CLICK HERE For Details.
And Baker Mayfield is getting off social media. This has been a long time coming. Do your talking on the field and the scoreboard. I think your press conferences are funny, but you are hearing too much of the outside noise. Take a break from social media, television commercials, keep family and friends out of it... Realize winning quiets all the bad.
Did you get your haul yet? I got mine. It's that mini-season known as "Girl Scout Cookies". And, it's delicious.
For those of you that love beer AND GS Cookies, well, now you can get all fancy and combine your two loves. Craftbeer.com has determined the best GS Cookie/Craft Beer pairings:
Thin Mints -- Dry stout
Samoas -- German-style doppelbock
Trefoils -- English pale ale
Tagalongs -- Belgian-style quadrupel
Savannah Smiles -- Berliner-style Weisse
Do-Si-Dos - American Brown Ale
I see they don't have a pairing for the new Adventurefuls. Perhaps that's your assignment!
Enjoy!

I told you about what went down on the Ohio Turnpike in Erie County over the weekend, where a plow in the inside lane on the opposite side of the highway was hauling butt and plowing at the same time. Which means he threw snow and ice debris so fast onto cars travelling on the opposite side of the turnpike. Forty cars crashed, and 12 people were injured. Here's the video ICMYI:
Story will be updated as we learn more: https://t.co/4pgM6zm95x

And now for something good involving the snow... Someone in Lakewood put on an inflatable unicorn costume to go out and blow the snow. Love it!

2022 has been a cold one... not only weather wise, but taking some very big names from us. Sure Betty White is on a level of her own. Bob Saget you took Danny Tanner from us. And then this week we lost Meatloaf at the age of 74. Then Louie Anderson the very funny comedian. Let's pump the brakes 2022...Here is Brian May of Queen one of the many tributes from the rock world for Meatloaf.
Thursday was National DJ Day. I can't say enough how much the well wishes and kind words that were left either at the Klaben Auto Stores Text Line or called in. Meant a lot! I think, I can speak for Spatz, Amanda, Nick, Kathy and I... saying with out you, there is no us! We appreciate you whole-heartedly. Y'all rock and being we are all local, live in your community are your neighbors and friends. Thank you for letting us grace your speakers everyday!
Maybe the best and most creative thing of the week is from the Akron Zoo... If you are a soap opera fan this is for you! Or anyone really who loves the little animals that are always dressed up. (don't expect the classic slaps of the daytime soaps.)
John Mellencamp released his first album in a number of years. Springsteen shows up on some tracks and his son, Speck did the cover art. Click Here For Details.
Daryl Hannah also released the New Documentary of Neil Young and Crazyhorse's New Album, Barn. Check it out here.
We may be sick of this snow, but these animals at the Akron Zoo are loving it! If you're having a not-so-great-day, this will make it all better.
P.S. I really want an otter as a pet... LOL

If you're in a feelin-the-90s kind of vibe, this should keep that bliss going. Back in the day, Ann Wilson lent her vocals to the Alice in Chains RP SAP. So, it's no surprise that she would cover an Alice in Chains song. Let's time travel back to a time when you may have been angsty-er, younger for sure, and feeling some sort of thing. Ann puts her own spin on her cover of "Rooster."
Here are the new songs:
Slash just released his new album '4' on Friday -
Alex Lifeson of Rush has a new band 'Envy of None' their new album drops February 8th-

And are we talking 'Super Group' or what!!!!!
Here is the new movie trailer from Dave Grohl
The other night, me and the hubs somehow got on the topic of Triumph the Insult Comic Dog. We were laughing, reminiscing about how brash and absolutely hilarious those sketches were. Then we watched a couple of those oh-so-wrong bits. We were in tears.
We could use a little more Triumph in our lives, so here you go...

Nothing beats the warmth of music on vinyl. Sure, mp3s are convenient. But there's a whole vibe when it comes to vinyl. That's why I'm pumped that the younger generation is getting its vinyl on, and appreciating the experience it brings.
For you vinyl heads out there, have you stopped into Erie St. Vinyl yet? Make the trip to downtown Massillon. It'll be worth it. This family-owned business has records from newer artists, and a used/vintage bin. And... the family dog will greet you at the door.

With the new year, comes new things to keep us busy!

2022... or is it 2112... judging by this Pinball Machine Rush is fully into it!
And yes, Beavis and Butthead are coming back with a movie and a show in 2022... and they look like they have aged just like some of us. (bless you Mike Judge)!
Beavis and Butt-Head will be returning this year with a brand new movie and more on Paramount+. No exact date yet, but soon. They need some time to get back in shape. pic.twitter.com/tN5rePP9Kn

You might want to grab a beverage for this one. I was *today years old* when I discovered that Phil Collins hates Paul McCartney. HATES him. But why? Let Phil tell it:
"I met him when I was working at the Buckingham Palace party back in 2002. McCartney came up with [his then-wife] Heather Mills and I had a first edition of The Beatles, by Hunter Davies, and I said, 'Hey, Paul, do you mind signing this for me?' And he said, 'Oh, Heather, our little Phil's a bit of a Beatles fan.' And I thought, 'You f*ck, you f*ck.' Never forgot it."
And Phil is bent. Forever:
"McCartney was one of my heroes. But he has this thing when he's talking to you, where he makes you feel [like], 'I know this must be hard for you because I'm a Beatle. I'm Paul McCartney and it must be very hard for you to actually be holding a conversation with me.'"
Perhaps he'll dedicate this one to Sir Paul...
Rush is coming to a bar or arcade near you:
and look for their new beer as well in the States soon, hey!
At the stroke of midnight on New Year's Eve we do all kinds of things to ensure good luck for the next year. I love these little brain nugs. Let's see if they work for 2022!
1. Kissing someone at midnight: Somehow, this tradition got messed up over the decades. Because many times we just grab someone and plant one on 'em. The point of the midnight kiss is to kiss someone you love so that you will enjoy love with that particular person in the new year.
2. Eat 12 grapes: This tradition originated from Spain. You eat 12 grapes (for each month of the year)-- exactly 12! And it must happen at midnight. I say plop 'em in a glass of bubbly for a cheers at midnight, and for good luck!
3. Don't eat lobster!: Just at midnight! The theory behind the not eating lobster is because they walk backwards. So, you don't want to set yourself up for setbacks in the new year.

I hope that 2022 finds you healthy, happy and safe. And.. that you get to have some fun, too!
