Cesar Millan ain't got nothin' on 74-year-old George Kocar of Bay Village. Every morning, rain or shine, he walks a 5-mile loop for his health and happiness-- and to greet every doggo on his route. He knows every dog's name; Every dog's story. And, yes, he gives them treats and lots of love!
George was employed by American Greetings and did some freelance illustrations for The Plain Dealer and big-time magazines. He uses his gift and love of animals to create drawings for the humans of his beloved dog friends. He's even been with families as their fur babies have crossed the Rainbow Bridge.
I love sharing stories with you of the good people and good things that happen in our communities to remind us all that, yes, there is goodness still happening in this crazy world.
