Is there anything Dave Grohl can't do or at least won't try? He and his band Foo Fighters were nominated for Rock Hall induction and if they get in, it'll be Grohl's second go-round. The first time of course was with Nirvana. The Foos are among many artists taking part in a charity raffle to raise money for the #ILoveLive campaign in support of live music crew members amid the COVID-19 pandemic. And now, Grohl can be heard doing his best Barry Gibb falsetto on a cover version of the Bee Gees' classic "You Should Be Dancing." Click this link to hear it and learn how it all came together
We're witnessing somewhat of a recent Bee Gees revival after an HBO special brought them back into our musical consciousness. It's a great retrospective and proves these guys should not be defined by "Saturday Night Fever" alone. And now Barry Gibb, the last surviving brother, has recorded a duet album of Bee Gees' classics with some heavy hitters in Nashville. Also worth a listen.
