Together Again

Written by

"Now I Have a Machine Gun"...

Written by
I opened a can of worms (purposely) on social media when I said the hubs and I were watching our favorite Christmas movie, Die Hard. For us, it's a tradition to watch on Friday night. Because on Thanksgiving night we watch Thankskilling (look it up-- horrible movie made in Ohio.) …

I Want Candy

It's a myth that Asian folk don't eat sweets. Yes, with many Asian people being thinner than most it's a common belief. But let me tell ya-- we do have sweets. My mom is Korean, and I remember as a child loving rice candy. The candy would come in a…

Foiled

Written by
I've always wondered why one side of the foil is shiny, and the other side dull. I never thought to ask before. I always cook with the shiny side up. But now, I just need to know. The thing is, there really is nothing magical about the foil sides. They're…

Slow & Low

Written by
Craig mentioned the other day that he got a crockpot, which to me is one of the greatest inventions. It is virtually impossible to ruin a meal made in a crockpot. And, it can turn the toughest cuts of meat into a melt-in-your-mouth delight.  I love lasagna, but HATE the…
