It’s the end of the year and the end of another decade.  Let’s hope 2020 brings all of us good health and happiness.  Looking back this year rock n roll lost more great musicians including Peter Tork of The Monkees who was 77, the great Leon Redbone who was 69, Dr. John was 77, Gary Duncan of Quicksilver Messenger Service was 72, Larry “The Mole” Taylor of Canned Heat was 77, Eddie Money was 70, Ric Ocasek of the Cars was 70, Robert Hunter, who wrote many of the Grateful Dead songs was 78, Cream drummer Ginger Baker was 80, a founding member of Lynyrd Skynyrd who left before they began their recording career, bassist Larry Junstrom was 70.  Remember “Time Has Come Today?” George “Pops” Chambers of the Chamber’s Brothers was 88.  These were members of a generation of great rockers and their music will live on!
