97.5 WONE

Next to the classic rockin’ & rollin’, our veterans mean so much to us. And apparently, to you as well. You all showed up for the Valor Home of Summit County this past year (and every other previous year). You bought items in our online store. You bought raffle tickets during our Winter Bowling League. You bought the car raffle tickets. You played mini golf, ate at local restaurants, and donated money and items. Not all heroes wear capes, they say. And you are proving you’re heros with your generosity and compassion. So, thank you!

Also, I’d like to thank GBS– a North Canton business with a soft spot in their collective hearts for our veterans. GBS established a Year of Giving Initiative (YOGI) this past year where employees gave their time and selves to benefit charitable organizations. Together, they raised $15,000 for SAVE22– an organization dedicated to preventing suicide among veterans, active-duty personnel, and first responders. Zach Schlimm (Director of Sales, GBS PrinTech Division) & Albert Woodin (Representative from SAVE 22) will meet on 11/25 for the check presentation.

It’s our coming together as a community, supporting each other, that truly makes a difference.

Again, thank you for your love and support and for always answering the call!
