The title says it all: Men Making a Difference. There’s this great program in Alliance where a group of men read to school-aged children. Men from all walks of life. It was the brain-child of three women in the school system. Their goal? To educate students about different careers; to see positive men in the community; to build relations within the community; and of course– reading! Not only does it mix things up for the students, but it gives these gentlemen an even greater purpose. We all want to feel like we’re contributing and making a difference, and this is one way that’s getting done.
