Meet Meet Sylvester & Scorpion - 97.5 WONE’s pets of the week from Humane Society of Summit County! 🐾

Meet Sylvester!
This handsome five year old male cat is ready to find his forever home! Sylvester is a friendly and active boy who is quick to greet just about anyone that walks by with a cute meow and extended paw. A bit sensitive in nature, Sylvester has the tendency to forget his shy side and want to jump right into friendship, but he does have his moments when he can appear a little conflicted. He may need a bit of time and space to truly adjust to his home before he feels fully comfortable, but he'll still be down for playtime while he does.
Sylvester would likely do best in a home with less traffic, as a lot of noise and movement can be stressful for him. Don't worry he'll be sure to be the life of the party and bring his own active energy to his forever home. Due to his sensitive nature, he will likely do best in a home with kiddos that are 13 years or older.
We do not know if Sylvester has lived with other cats previously. As a result, we highly recommend slow introductions to any potential feline family members. A slow intro will help ensure that both Sylvester and his new cat companions feel safe and comfortable adjusting to each other's presence.

Say hello to Scorpion!
He is a 1.5 year old Pit Bull mix who weighs about 51 pounds. Scorpion is a bubbly and gregarious boy who has boundless energy! He is a young boy who loves to run around and play, go on long walks, and snuggle up in your lap. He's a typical young male dog who is always ready to go on an adventure or have a rough and rowdy play session.
Scorpion shows potential with other dogs, but he is still learning some manners, so he would need a slow introduction to new dogs and would prefer a dog that he can wrestle and play with. Since he can be a wild man, he would do best with kids ages 13 and older who can manage his excitability. It won't take long until Scorpion shows you what an adorable and snuggly pup he is.
