2014 - Looking back at those we've lost along the way2014 - Looking back at those we've lost along the way
30 Dec 2014 19:15

As we close down another year, it's time to look back and remember those we've said goodbye to. Though they are gone, their music and inspiration will live on. Phil Everly -The Rock and Roll Hall of Famer from the Everly Brothers passed away on January 3rd at the age of 74 due to complications from chronic obstructive pulmonary disease. Along with his brother, Don, The Everly Brothers' harmony sound influenced generations of musicians. In 1988, the Everly Brothers were among the very first artists inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. Dennis "Fergie" Frederiksen - The lead singer of Toto's 1984 hit, "Stranger in Town" passed away on January 18th at age 62 after a long battle with cancer. Bob Casale - a.k.a. "Bob 2" - Casale was the founding guitarist of Akron's own Devo. Bob passed away on February 17th in L.A. at 61 from heart failure.   Jerry Corbitt - The founding member of The Youngbloods died on March 10th at 71 of lung cancer. Scott As [ ... ]

Sandra Miller's Daily Buzz: Ozzy's cursed House & KISS makeup gets kids busted

Written by Sandra Miller. Posted in Sandra's Daily Buzz

Ozzy & Sharon Osbourne must really LOVE their English mansion. It has suffered $500,000 of flood damage in one of the country's wettest years. They have to move out for at least 9 months while damage is repaired... mind you - this is the SAME house where Ozzy broke his neck in 2003, suffered from not one, but two fires in 2004 & 2006, and someone broke into the house in 2004 and took $1.5 million in jewelrey. Maybe it's time to throw in the chips...

Four High School kids in New York got in trouble for dressing as KISS for Senior Celebrity Dress Up Day... They didn't even wear the spandex & crazy boots. It was the make-up that got them busted and sent home. The school said it was "not appropriate" because the make-up made their faces unrecognizable. They offered to wear name tags, but were told no & STILL sent home. Boo! Here a picture of the kids, before their parade was rained on...
