Stymie is a 1.5 year old American Bulldog / Pit Bull mix that weighs about 60 pounds. He was adopted out as a puppy and was recently returned because of moving. While in the home, he lived with both kids and cats and did great with all. He loves to be around dogs and enjoys playing with them. He was housebroken and crate-trained while in his previous home, but may need some time adjusting to a new schedule and family. He enjoys car rides and LOVES playing with toys. Stymie can’t wait to be part of a family again! |

Ryder is a 2-3 year old Pit Bull mix that weighs about 40 pounds. She has potential with the right dog. This little low rider already knows sit, but is currently in a Basic Obedience Class at the HSGA and is starting to master down and much more. Her favorite thing is squeaky toys and she will fetch them and bring them back to you. This loving lady is a sweet, happy and playful girl that can’t wait to become part of a family! |

Ghost is around 3-4 years old with big green eyes and beautiful white fur! This pretty girl is front declawed. She has potential with the right cat and also seems to do well with dogs. When she first arrived at the HSGA, she was a little on the shy side now she is coming out of her shell! She loves being petted and getting scratched behind her ears. If there is an open lap Ghost will probably occupy it! It sure will be a happy Halloween with this little Ghost in your home! |

Heywood is around 10-12 months old and currently weighs about 45 pounds. When he arrived at the HSGA he had an injured leg. Sadly, the injuries to the leg was too severe and amputation was the only solution. Don’t think that having 3 legs slows down this handsome man; he loves to play, go on walks and do everything other dogs do! He is currently attending a Basic Obedience class at the HSGA and has already mastered sit and down and is eager to learn much more! He can be a little shy when first meeting new people, but after some yummy treats and a little bit of time Heywood is ready to be your best friend. He gets along well with other dogs, but would do best in a home with no cats. “Heywood” you stop down and meet this special boy today?! |
