Ice Cube is a 4 – 5 year old Chihuahua / Terrier mix that weighs about 10 pounds. This little lady is shy with new people and because of this we recommend a home with older children. She has potential with the right dog. When Ice Cube knows you, she loves to snuggle up on your lap. She is an easy-going, sweet girl that is just looking for a quiet place to call home. We think Ice Cube is one cool dog!

Goliath is around 5.5 years old and weighs about 60 pounds. He has potential with the right dog and would do best in a home with older children. Goliath’s favorite pastime is playing with tennis balls, he LOVES them! Goliath has passed his AKC Canine Good Citizen (CGC) test while being an HSGA resident. Also, during his stay he has attended “Trick Class” here at the Humane Society and we would now label him a smarty pants. Goliath knows sit, down, shake, other paw, high 5, sit pretty, drop-it, play the piano and we are working on wave bye-bye and raise your hand. Here is a video of him showing off just some of his skills
This boy loves to play, however, Goliath has a nice mix of energy and soon turns into an easy-going and snuggly man. Goliath is a gentle giant, but don’t take our testament, stop down and check him out for yourself.

Jackson is around 1.5 years old. The best words to describe this handsome man is playful, active and goofy! This spirited boy LOVES to play and has a lot of energy to burn. He shows great potential with other cats and even dogs!! Jackson loves treats and is very food motivated, if you are looking for a cat to train, he is the man for the job. Due to his rambunctious nature, we do recommend a home with older children. If you think Jackson sounds like a match, he is waiting to meet you at the HGSA today!

Sweet Pea

Sweet Pea was born in October 2011. He was adopted out as a kitten and was returned back in August. Sweet Pea can be a little shy when first meeting new people because shelter life is so new to him. It does not take long for this handsome man to warm up though. Once he does he LOVES to play!!! He would do best in a home with older children and with someone who has the time to find new and fun games to help Sweet Pea not become bored. He has lived with a dog and shows good potential with cats. Once Sweet Pea starts winding down from a good play session, he likes to get pets. This beautiful boy can’t wait to become part of a family again!
