Kennedy Center Honors Led Zeppelin, Buddy guy & more.

Watch Zeppelin tributes here!

The Kennedy Center honors took place in Washington D.C. on December 2nd, but unless you were in the audience, you weren't able to experience the awesomeness that it was until it aired on CBS last night (Wednesday). The honorees this year included Led Zeppelin, Buddy Guy, Dustin Hoffman, David Letterman, and some ballerina chick. Jeff Beck and Bonnie Raitt played tribute to Buddy Guy, but it was small potatoes compared to the Led Zeppelin tribute. Among the performers cranking out Zeppelin tunes were Foo Fighters with Dave grohl on drums & Taylor Hawkins singing "Rock and Roll," Kid Rock doing "Babe I'm Gonna Leave You," and "Ramble On." Lenny Kravitz sounded great on "Whole Lotta Love,"but the steal of the night went to Heart with Jason Bonham on drums performing "Stairway to Heaven."  You can check out the entire Led Zeppelin tribute here - well worth your 20 minutes...  http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ta0gDfGb9u0

The highlight of the night as Heart does their thing leaves you no doubt that they are on their way to the Rock hall. Here's their performance of "Stairway to Heaven"... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JK_DOJa99oo
