Akron's own The Black keys are among the leaders with 6 grammy nominations - OK, technically only 5, but Dan Auerbach was also nominated for Producer of the year so that counts! The band was also nominated for Record of the Year, Best Rock performance and Best Rock Song for "Lonely Boy" and Album of the Year and Best Rock Album for El Camino. Bruce Springsteen will compete with them for Best Rock Performance, Best Rock Song and Best Rock Album. The 55th Annual Grammy Awards will take place at the Staples Center in L.A. on February 10th.

E! is airing a Rolling Stones special on December 15th at 8pm - just before the band's pay-per-view event. Live From the Rolling Stones will feature interviews with the Stones and behind-the-scenes footage from the Prudential Cecnter in Newark, New Jersey where the band's final performance of the year will take place in celebration of their 50th anniversary. That show, One More Shot, will be available through pay-per-view for $39.99.
