Aerosmith troubles & Deep Purple goes jazz

According to the New york post things aren't running too smoothly for Aerosmith on the road. The band is "barely speaking to each other," there is disappointment in low album sales for Music From Another Dimension, crowds don't really want to hear the new music, and Steven Tyler is having issues dealing with touring and his failed engagement. A spokesperson for the band says it's not true, saying, "It's clear that someone is spreading false and malicious rumors."

Deep Purple appeared on a French TV show Wednesday morning to promote their upcoming french and german dates. They played "Smoke on the Water".... but a very jazz version of it - like elevator jazz. What the what??  Check out the performance here...
