Waters/ Gilmour happenings &

Chrissie Hynde's mother passes

Roger Waters has just finished writing a new song, and he hopes it will join several others soon on a new album. The song is about religious extremism, and it has the wheels turning for an album tentatively called "Heartland." It's not written, or recorded, but it's exciting that it's a possibility!

Speaking of Floyd, David Gilmour  is now an app. there's a compant that has figured out how to turn concert DVDs into phone apps, and David Gilmour In Concert will be the first one ever - in the whole world! It will be released for iPhone, iPad and iPad touch on November 19th, with an Android version to follow.

Delores Hynde, the mother of The Pretenders' Chrissie, and Terry of The Numbers Band recently passed away. The Hyndes were always out and about in the Akron area, and if you ever bumped into them, you could tell how proud they were of their children. Our thoughts and condolences go out to the entire Hynde family.
