Green day cancelations & postponements and KISS gets boxed!

Green Day has canceled all of their 2012 dates remaining, and postponed the early 2013 shows - that includes their January 30th show at the Wolstein Center. The band has made it clear that singer Billie Joe Armstrong's rehab and well being is their main priority right now, and apologizes to all the fans.  Ok, we can grumble, but the dude IS in rehab. That's kind of more important.

KISS is preparing to release The Casablanca Singles 1974-1982 on December 4th. It will put 29 vinyl singles from the band's first 9 years together - including five from their solo albums. There will be some colored vinyl, picture sleeves, and alternate mixes and edits. In addition there is a custom KISS 45s box, a 36 page booklet, and a mask for each member. The collection will run you $270 and is only available at www.UniversalMusicEnterprises.com/select - but a 29 CD set will also be released in stores... and it will cost way less.
