The Allman Brothers announced 6 shows at New York's Beacon Theaterthis October to make up for the string of canceled shows last spring, but then they made a bigger announcement... This will be the end of The Allman Brothers. They have decided to call it quits after October. The band was already losing their guitarists Derek Trucks and Warren Haynes at the end of 2014, so the band's future was already uncertain. The four make-up shows will happen on October 21st, 22nd, 24th and 25th. They've also tacked on shows on the 27th and 28th just to give fans a chance to catch them one last time.

Steve Perry randomly popped up in St. Paul, MN at an Eels show over the weekend and performed infront of an audience for the first time in about 19 years. He sang an Eels song (with a special dirty word throughout, in case you want to watch it at work) and then he lunched into "Open Arms" and "Lovin' Touchin' Squeezin'." The voice has aged, but he was classic Perry. In recent years Perry has taken baby steps out into the public, which makes people wonder if he's slowly preparing himself for something bigger. Check out his performance here - if you need to skip the NSFW stuff head to the 4:00 mark.
